Pangea Adviesbureau is a consultancy firm in education and research on the digital society. Pangea is located in the Plantage of Amsterdam.Pangea’s mission is to ensure that digital technologies remain at the centre of human interests. Pangea does not limit itself to the Global North, but seeks to contact partners in many regions of the world. Pangea is the legacy of the late geologist, photographer and artist Bruno van Moerkerken, who founded the company in 2001.

Anna Bon is the CEO of Pangea and brings over 25 years of expertise in academic teaching, professional training. She has led numerous complex, international, multi-country projects in Africa (Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana a.o.), Latin America (Colombia a.o.)) and South-East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia), and Europe (EURIDICE project: fifteen countries). At Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she launched an interdisciplinary research program focused on ICT for Development. Anna holds a PhD from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Anna is a proud member of the Digital Humanism Steering Committee.

Pangea works closely with partners , for example by teaming up with partners in Mali and Burkina Faso and with researchers in Ghana, Malaysia, Austria, Germany, Portugal and France. Pangea Adviesbureau strongly supports the Vienna Manifesto for Digital Humanism. Pangea is one of the small enterprises who are partners of the EURIDICE consortium, in which  24 partners from 15 countries collaborate to design European Inclusive Education for Digital Society, Social Innovation and Global Citizenship.
